The Setting

At Finkley Weeke Nursery & Preschool we want to give your child a unique experience every day. The nursery is based in the Weeke scout hut and has been carefully designed to enhance every aspect of a child’s learning and development.

We often get out and about using our own private vehicle, which the children have named Bertie Bus! Our special partnership with Finkley Down Farm gives the children unlimited access to the farm and all its facilities, and we regularly visit other local points of interest too.

Outdoors, the nursery has two garden areas which have been designed with children in mind, with a sensory pathway area, vegetable plots, flower beds, mud kitchen, bug hotel, parking garage and so much more.

Indoors, we have a free flow environment set up, where the children are free to explore the role play area, sensory den or get creative in the craft area. Being a “pack away” nursery we get to create a new environment each day based on the children’s interests.
